We don’t know too much about this game, codenamed ‘Panopticon’. Will it be a PS3 release? PSv release? Maybe a PS4 release? Or perhaps both? Wouldn’t it be a great day to unveil something special on the day that the next Xbox console is to be announced? If you haven’t seen the trailer then you might want to check it out below.
The trailer combined with the unveil date certainly points in the direction that this game could be a major unveil. The theme of the game appears to be Japanese. The definition of the word ‘Panopticon’ probably gives away the most clues (A circular prison that has cells held around a central well, from which prisoners could be observed at all times.)
The key concept of the game appears to be set in a futuristic science fiction world where the citizens are constantly been watched.
Early indications suggest that it will be an RPG (Role Playing Game).
If you like PS3 games then you might also like to play casino games for fun. Later we’ll be able to see if ‘Panopticon’ is going to be something special or just another game to add to our ‘I might check it out’ list. Afterall, wouldn’t it be great for Sony to cause a storm just as Microsoft are announcing the next XBOX? Needless to say that for all you ‘PlayStation only’ gamers out there, the answer to that question would be a big bold YES!
