According to AMD Ex-employees, AMD is working on an unannounced console chip with Sony. We can only assume this ‘unannounced console’ could be the PlayStation 4. The PS3 currently uses Nvidia technology, could Sony ditch Nvidia for AMD? AMD and Sony Chief Transformation Officer George Bailey both declined to comment.
